Nuuksio Reindeer Park – Arrival Instructions

Ticket: ABC zone ticket (HSL app, HSL service points, or contactless payment at card readers)

You can buy your ticket using contactless payment:

• Tap your credit/debit card at a card reader on the platform before boarding, or  

• Tap your card inside the train at the reader near the doors

Note: Bus 245(A) runs less frequently — please check the timetable in advance and choose your train accordingly.

Route from Helsinki to Nuuksio, Espoo

• Take train E, U or L from Helsinki to Espoo Centre
  (E train = fast and runs frequently; U and L trains may be slower)

• Continue with bus 245(A) from platform 32 towards Nuuksio

• Get off at Punjonsuo stop (two stops after the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia)

• Walk approx. 400 m:
  After the pedestrian crossing, turn right at the crossroads (Nuuksiontie 83) and follow signs to the Reindeer Park.
  Walk to the parking area; the fenced reindeer enclosure is on your right.
  Enter through the gate and follow the boardwalk to the ticket hut.

🚗 By Car

Driving time from Helsinki: approx. 30–40 min

Directions:

• Exit Turku motorway (Road 1 / E18) at the IKEA junction and turn right uphill

• At the second traffic lights, turn left towards Veikkola

• Drive under Ring Road III and continue onto Nupurintie (Route 110)

• After approx. 5 km, turn right following signs: Nuuksio / Solvalla

• Pass the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia, continue approx. 1 km, then turn right

• You will see signs to Karhunpesä and Nuuksio Reindeer Park

• Drive up to the yard where you will find our private parking area

Parking:

• Spaces are shared with Karhunpesä visitors and may be limited

• A larger public parking area is available in front of Haltia

• Important: Parking on private roads is strictly prohibited

♿ Accessibility

From the parking area, the Reindeer Park is accessed via a wide wooden boardwalk (approx. 60 m), followed by a few steps at the entrance.
