Arrival and parking:

We recommend arriving by public transport, or shared transportation to reduce emissions and alleviate traffic congestion on Nuuksiontie. Visitors to the Reindeer Park share the same parking lot with those visiting Karhunpesä Villa, so parking spaces are limited. The nearest larger parking area is at the Finnish Nature Center Haltia, approximately one kilometer before the Reindeer Park. Alternatively, you can park your car in the Safari House yard, about 400 meters before the Reindeer Park, at Nuuksiontie 77.

NOTE! Parking on private roads is strictly prohibited! Residents must have access to drive to their own plots, and snowplows must have unrestricted access to plow private roads during winter.

Accessibility:

The Reindeer Park is accessed by wide wooden plank path from the car park (approx. 60 m) and a few steps at the end.

Directions:

Turku motorway - Nupurintie (old Turuntie 110) - Nuuksiontie

* Exit from the Turku motorway (road No. 1) near Ikea, turning uphill and right.
* At the second traffic light, turn left towards Veikkola, passing under Kehä III onto Nupurintie (road No. 110).
* Drive approximately 5 km and turn right towards Nuuksio / Solvalla.
* Pass by the Finnish Nature Center Haltia for 1,1 km, then turn right.
* Look for the sign for Karhunpesä and the Reindeer Park advertisement. Drive up to the yard where our private parking area is located.
